n a resilient display, HHU Devs secured their first point of the season in a hard-fought 2-2 draw against a persistent Royal Oak side at Normo. The first half saw Royal Oak dominate, leading 2-0 after a penalty, courtesy of a Walmsley foul. However, a trademark run by Paul Cole and a precision cross allowed Connor Mcann to head HHU Devs back into the game. The comeback continued with a goal from Renzo, leveling the score. Despite missed opportunities to secure the win, including shots from Ethan and Renzo, and a near miss by Paul, the draw proved a fair result in a game of two halves. With this valuable point, HHU Devs climb from the bottom of the league, setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead. Next week, the spotlight shifts to HHU First as they take on Beccles A away at Beef Meadow.
